Our worship on August 9 will take us back in time! We’ll use a familiar liturgy from the green Lutheran Book of Worship (1978) that was a standard weekly worship service at Grace from the 1970s through the early 2000s.

Pastor Dell Sanderson, who was a pastor at Grace from 1993-2008, will be leading the worship and preaching the sermon. Join us to remember familiar days gone by or to experience a traditional LBW worship for the first time!

Before worship, we’ll have a hymn sing of favorite, classic hymns with organist Ben Jacobsma. Following worship, we will gather for a light continental brunch, coffee, and conversations.

How well do you know Grace Lutheran? Find out as you join the fun at a Grace-themed trivia contest at Take 16. You can join a team when you arrive or come with a team already set, but don’t miss this fun fellowship event celebrating all things Grace!
Grace Community Block Party at Take 16

Saturday, September 12 from 5:00 - 8:00pm at Take 16 Brewing Company

We are inviting our whole community to celebrate with us at this relaxed, family-friendly event open to all!

Our block party will include a burger bar supper ($10 for adults, $5 for kids), music, kid and yard games, and a variety of beverages to purchase, including our one-night-only, Grace-themed “Thy Kingdom Kolsch” Take 16 beer!

Connect with old friends and meet new ones prior to our festival worship service.
Heritage Room Open

A dedicated group of Grace members have been working hard to organize and showcase Grace Lutheran’s history in our newly-repurposed Heritage Room. The room is located on the second floor in the northwest corner of the building. Be sure to stop in and enjoy the displays and learn more about our church’s history.

Celebration Worship Service

10:00am in the Sanctuary (Note special time)

This festival worship service will celebrate how God is faithful to all generations through the ministry of Grace Lutheran Church for the past 75 years and into the future! We’ll combine our anniversary and Rally Sunday themes with great music and messages from God’s Word.

All-Church Photo

Immediately following worship, we will remain in the Sanctuary for an all-church photo. Please plan to be part of this important photo and wear your Grace t-shirt if you have one!
Catered Buffet Meal

A catered buffet meal of ham, broasted chicken, potatoes, sides, drinks, and dessert will be served for all with seating both in the Fellowship Hall and outside under the big tent. Serving will be from approximately 11:30 until 12:15pm.
Children’s Games and Inflatables

It wouldn’t be Rally Sunday without inflatables and games for the kids to enjoy outside! The family activities will be available after the all-church photo until approximately 12:45pm.
